I'm a girl so I asked my dad. He said give him Carter any day! My 16 yr old male cousin, however, reckons that Sam has a, and I quote, 'A more manly walk than the guys.'; I don't agree. (Mostly coz I think THE RDA is hot!) but also I love Amanda. She seems so nice!

Neway, being a 5'1" 14 yr old (and the shortest in her class!) I wanna b like her. Janet/Teryl is pretty but she is not quite as tall as AT and she has had way more disasterous hair styles than Amanda!

If I'm going for people that could and would realistically want to look like, I'd say Maura Tierney. She's pretty, has nice hair (she's a brunette like me!) and she gets 2 kiss Noah Wyle! (ok so that part isn't realistic since he's married and, oh yeah, he's about 15 years too old for me and all but hey as mousie said, we can dream, right?!?)

Mmmmmn - I definately have to say Janet - she is much cuter and a lot more fun than Carter.

Have you noticed - us 'open minded' girlies all go for Janet !!!!

Well I know my hubby is not a big AT fan but I also know he thinks "action" women are sexier than caring, soft ones. He's a major angelina jolie in tomb raider fan!! So I'm sure if he had to choose he would pick Carter. There is something alluring these days about a woman being able to handle her self in dangerous situations, and altho janet is no wimp she is portrayed as a more motherly domestic type.
I'm a woman so I guess my opinion doesnt really count but I think Sam is way more attractive than Janet anyway.

Although, I'm a girl also, I pick Janet. I think most people pick Sam because we see so much more of her. We hardly see Janet, except for a few minutes in a few episodes. Janet has the better body, she's cuter, she's just as smart as Sam (although in a different field) and can probably kick ass just as well!
BTW, are there any epi where Janet kicks ass? Besides Hathor?

Not a fight scene, but a face-off with Nirti. Janet is very determined in her efforts to save Cassandra.

General Hammond pointing out to Nirti that "the woman holding the gun is the child's mother."
