I do have a rather serious question. I go over to the sam, jack, teal'c, daniel, other characters, aliens threads...and i don't see the tone of posts that i see here.

Discussing the character is fine but...if people hate him so much, why are you moved to come over and post about him?

If a restaurant serves a dish i don't like, I don't order it. If i don't like a topic, i just don't discuss it.

well, I've just ventured over here, only just seen some S6 & for the recored, though before I said I'd hate Jonas, I like him in a 'your a miner person be quiet stay there be good while we explore the characters I really want to know about, i.e. Jack & Sam

haven't read any posts here yet but I've come to defend or support Jonas I guess. Maybe others are just curious as to who actually does like him? so they venture over here?

Now I may be out of my depth here. I like Daniel (character) and I also like Jonas (character).

I have noticed alot of people slating Jonas. I think what we have to remember is that Daniel (Michael Shanks) chose to leave the show and there needed to be a replacement. Things go as they always do and they get someone new, some fresh influence maybe????

i LOVE jonas quinn as a new character in Stargate not to mention he is sssooooo hot.
it's nice to bring in change and jonas does this well. i cannot understand why so many peeps diss him. i prefer jonas to daniel but i'd like to see jonas and daniel back together even if jonas isn't that major anymore.

i hope that we get to see those two interact. right now, it doesn't look to promising, but we have no way of knowing for sure.

actually I think there's more people out there that like him than you think. The poll over in general discussion (albiet not many have voted) shows quite an acceptance of him when you get to know him more...

jonas seems to be slowly but surely growing on people. Sure, there have always been and will always be those that just don't like him (there are for every character) but I seem to see more and more 'middle of the road' folks either liking him or at least tolerating him.

I think Jonas is great, he have so much to give as a character, that is why I hope they make a 5 member team. I totally enjoy him interacting with Teal'c this two are cool as a team.
