Wipeout
Wow, I have to say that I loved this episode! Successful merging of sci-fi and character interaction!
Starting out with Maria and Liz on the road just griping away about normal life stuff was perfect.
I liked seeing the interaction of Kyle and Sherriff Valenti. Kyle letting the fish go and his circle of life statement was so funny to me. I loved the look on Valenti's face, completely perplexed at his son's behavior. LMAO at the um...placement of that orb thing that caused the energy field. There we go with another under the belt energy reference. hehehe
The big ole bus full of bad guys was a nice touch. You just knew that they were in it, and somehow, the managed to make a bus look evil. (not that any of us that have ever rode on a bus didn't already know that lol)
Martha Stewart?? EWWWWWW That woman irritates the hell out of me for some reason, but it was very "mommish" for Mrs. Evans to have followed one of her recipes, she just seems like that type of woman that does everything to please others and would follow a recipe off the television

No offence about tv shows, i'm personally a cook that uses whatever happens to be in the cabinet or within arms reach lol. Was that thing called a Fretata? It looked more like a quiche.
I liked the interaction between Max and Isabel although I am still perplexed at her reluctance to tell him the truth about the recent things that have happened to her.
Liz and Maria did pretty good with the emotions of trying to figure out what was going on when they first got back into town. The baby carriage incident would have dissolved me to tears.
EWWWW could that bathwater that Courtney changed into her new husk in possibly
be anymore dirty?
When they all meet at the crashdown, I like the emotions that were showing there.
Woohoo, Tess is actually becoming more important. I am actually glad because she seems such an integral part of the 4some. Even if the relationship issues don't work out the way they were supposed to, that doesn't mean that she isn't necessary to the others. Being able to fool the skins into thinking that the bathroom wasn't there was very good.
We had a few moments of seeing the Max that loves Liz when she was looking at the laundry her mother had been doing. Too bad the visions of Kyle and Liz had to pop up right in the middle of that opportunity.
Courtney looks really gross with the 'husk' failing. That was pretty good makeup if anything lol I have to admit, I loved Maria having all the vitimin's and minerals, as well as herbs to add to that "nutrient" bath for Courtney. Kinda makes an interesting bit of irony to the whole thing. Am I the only one thinking that adding Pamprin to the mix was perfect for such a b**ch? lol I can't say I love that character at all.
Typical drama between Max and Michael. What is it going to take to get those two to trust one another?
Here's where it got kind of confusing. What exactly were they saying about humans not being able to exist in multiple planes or time? Que? Fuzzy math giong on here......lol
Courtney showing them where the seal was to kill the skins was a good thing. Guess I can quit banging MikeyG with that frying pan for saving her.

I CANNOT believe that later he told her where the Granolith was . WTF??? Is he insane? Or is he in Love? *cringe*
So back in the bus, Ms.I can do it all on my own Isabel, finds out that she apparently had an affair with the "other" Nicholas. and tries to excape using her womanly wiles.
Isabel was silly for not sticking with the group. They should have known in all these episodes that they don't fare well when they split up. I honestly wanted to puke when she was coming on to Nicholas, good way to revolt the viewers Roswell writers.
Poor little Nicholas. For being a supposedly 200 year old, he sure acts like a 14 year old with his order to kill them all.
I'm glad they put Liz back into the smart category. Thank you thank you thank you. She got really stupid for a few episodes, when starting off she was a whizz in science. NIce to see her figure out what caused the big dissappearance.
IN the UFO Museum, it was good again to see tess come to the rescue and save Maria. That was creepy with the fortune teller booth, those things always creeped me out.
Kyle remembering the location of the energy disturbance was very good. And I was hollering at the tv when he stood up to Max, "el presidente". LOL You go Kyle! I think Max respected him for it too.
The strugle of dissappearing was very realistic for Kyle, Liz, and Maria. I think from Liz's last words, she will be telling Max the truth about the "Kyle incident". I am kind of glad that she dissappeared first. It gave the other characters some light to stand in for once.
Kyle has a new classic quote. "Forgive me Budha, but i am going to kick your ass!!!!" LMAO!!! OMG that was soooooo funny! Then to dissappear right after destroying the bad guy. What a way to go.
Maria saves the day! Yay! that made me extremely happy to see her get a good, important role again. It had been too long.
Nicholas is a serious bad guy. He plays that role really really well. He is just seething evil. The whole mind raping thing is bad enough, but he has to toy with his victims instead of being satisfied. WTG Courtney for keeping the location of the granolith from him. The ultimate sacrifice. Not such a bad thing considering she was dying anyways. Too bad she had already given the location of the others away.
At the school, when the gang finds Isabel, is it just me or did that just reek of 'TRAP'. Just goes to show you exactly how much our favorite aliens do think like humans.
They didn't explain very well how the skins bound the aliens to those poles. I would have liked to have seen some sci-fi magic in that area.
Can I crush Nickyboy now? Don't touch my Max! Geesh, when are the writers going to get tired of seeing Max scream? I guess that it is required seeing as he is so important to the mythology, but darn it all, i'm kind of partial to him.
Woohoo Tess gotta new power! One that is strong! I think EdR actually carried this one off really well. I just really wanna say Good Job!
The end, when things are back to normal was very human in it's joyfulness. They were all happy to see the world returned to normal. I laughed so hard at how Alex was looking so strangely at Sherriff Valenti. Too funny. Then Isabel with her mother. I think that some of the adults need to know. Maybe this is leading us into that. Liz, Maria, and Kyle, the celebrations were awesome. This scene had me smiling from ear to ear.
At the park in the last scene with Max and Tess, was that boy on the razor Nicholas? sure did look like him, if so, how the hell could he have survived Tess's blast unless he isn't the same as the other skins?
Over all, Good episode. They got back to what made the first part of last year a winner.
