Who would you cast as Wonder Woman?

There is talk of a Wonder Woman movie - it has been in various stages of pre-production for almost ten years now, and I was wondering who ascifi would pick as the ideal actress to fill Wonder Woman's spangly armour?

Sandra Bullock has long been attached to the role - but she repeatedly denies any involvement, saying that she isn't limber enough and sundry other excuses.

A few years ago I saw some fan art, in which a picture of Catherine Zeta Jones had been altered to put her in the Costume. I am going to try and find it - it was incredibly well done, I thought she was really wearing the cossie! I don't like her as an actress, but she REALLY looked the part.

WW was always drawn as a big girl. So whilst Catherine Taffy Jones would look good in spangles, I don't think she has the size.

How about Angeline Jolie?
Also a bit skinny, bit fit enough for the antics

Zeta Jones has got alarmingly skinny recently - the picture I was talking about before depicted her with a little bit more weight on - it must have been a fairly old piccy.

Lynda Carter is looking remarkably spry for her age - she presented one of those BB2 "I Love 197X" shows last year, and she looked pretty great. Not quite superhero material any more though

I wouldn't want Angelina Jolie on principle - she's a pretty good actress and everything, but she was just bland bland bland in Tomb Raider.

Have to dye her hair, but tall and stacked enough. Though she is getting on a little now

I really can't cope with Brigitte Neilsen - she is as wooden as Arnie, without the screen prescence.
I would imagine Wonder Woman looking fairly athletic, but not body-builder style. I don't think Angelina is curvy enough, believe it or not!

Terry Farwell Dax of STDS9 and Reggie of Becker. She's tall. Did a lot of great fight in DS9. Even swung the Battlith a few times.

Cory Eversen former Ms Olypia and Alannta on HTLJ.

Zeta Jones is too pettie.

Aren't Terry Farrell and Bridget Neilson both 'too' tall? And I agree it needs to be someone more 'curvy'. I don't know who Cory Everson is -- can anyone post a pic? (U certificate please.) Catherine Zeta Jones IS quite short, but they could give her heels. Angeline Jolie just wouldn't be right. Lynda Carter is too old. I think Sandra Bullock would be the most suitable.

Oh, Terry Farrell is a great suggestion. I think she was my favourite person in DS9.

I think CZJ would really look the part, however, I can't stand her as an actress, and think she would ruin my enjoyment of any WW movie.

Still not sure who to vote for...

Neither of these actresses are much in the acting department. Alba is far too petite, although physically I think Richards could pull it off - I am amazed she is only 5'6", I was sure she was very tall.
