Who's better, Sarah or Daniela Pestova?

Well, now is your chance to vote on it.

DC101, a Washington, DC, USA radio station that I used to listen to growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, is running a contest between the two women.

There are some adult references at this contest site. Although they don't use any foul language, it is definitely a contest aimed at adults, I guess, although it seems to me rather childish.

Just for fun, if you want to put in a vote for Sarah, you can do that --->HERE<---.

Buffy is losing, 49% to 51%, let's turn that around.

Had there been a both option I would have voted for that, but since there wasn't I voted for Sarah. Shes still in the lead.

But, to continue, Sarah is losing badly 33% to 67%. I don't know how many votes that represents, but vote early and vote often...

Well, I have pretty-much single-handedly put Sarah back into the lead.

I have found a way to "stuff the ballot box".

If you make sure that the box for Sarah is checked, then you click on the "Vote" button. That will register your vote and take you to the results page. You can than hit the "Back" button and vote again. Since the "Vote" button is that last thing you clicked on, it is still high-lighted, so you only have to hit "Enter" on your keyboard to vote for Sarah again.

I have just spent a couple of hours hitting "Enter" with one hand and "Back" with the other. Since I have DSL, I can register a vote every 5 seconds or so. Enter-Back-Enter-Back-Enter-Back-Enter-Back. You get the idea.

Even at that rate it took me a couple of hours to erase Elizabeth's lead, but it's a lazy Sunday afternoon and I worked on it while watching a Braves' baseball game.

Now I just have to see how much of a lead I want to give Sarah. There are so many votes registered that it now takes 100 votes just to change the results by 1%.

Oh well, guess I'll put on a movie and work on it a little longer. Feel free to jump in and help.

I think that they are trying to replace her with a more super-model-type, but it's not going to be easy with me stuffing the ballot box. I can't wait until next week's contest so I can give her a big lead early.

Sorry, Slayerette, I failed. I couldn't find anything running now. There was one contest to design a logo for a Buffy/Spike shipper site, but that's already been won.

There is a "contest" over at GIST, a TV schedule site, which is merely everyone announcing their favorite superhero. It's not a formal contest, since it doesn't end and there is going to be no final winner.

But maybe you could get some people to vote for Spike. I put in a mention for Buffy, which several people have already suggested.

Well, after five weeks of stuffing the ballot box for our girl, the radio station "retired" Sarah from the contest and declared a new "champion" vs. a new challenger.

They didn't make any announcement on the contest page, you have to go to the History page to see that Sarah was undefeated.

I guess they got tired of Sarah beating Daniela Pestova, Shannon Elizabeth, Jeri Ryan, Salma Hayek and Stacy Keibler by a two-to-one margin

Even though Buffy may not be a true teen show anymore, The Teen Choice Awards have decided to recognize the Buffy cast, with a couple of surfboards.

- TV Actress, Drama -- Sarah Michelle Gellar

- TV Sidekick -- Alyson Hannigan

Sarah also picked up an award for Movie Actress, Comedy for Scooby-Doo.
