hi i just joined! my name is cheri

i've been a huge spidey fan since i was little and i loved the movie! i've become a huge tobey fan too since seeing it the man was awesome as peter! i can't wait to see the sequel!!

Hope you like it here at ascifi, I certainly do! I am the moderator here in the films section, so if you have any questions at all, please feel free to pm me. Take a peek over the Rules of Etiquette if you get the chance, these boards are basically PG13. Everyone is extremely friendly, and are willing to chat about just about anything (in General Discussions anyway!).

I gather from your post and your username that you are a big Spider Man fan! I saw the movie recently, and was a fan of the comic books when I was younger. I still read comics, but mainly DC or indie ones.
Tobey Maguire is THE MAN! I have really enjoyed all his screen roles immensely - have you seen Wonder Boys? He is fantastic in that.
What else are you into? I also moderate in the Star Wars forum, so we would be chuffed to see you over there. I also like pretty much any other SF and Buffy and Angel.

thanks so much for the welcome. i'm still taking a look around but this is a pretty neat site!

yup i'm a huge spidey fan. that along with x men and fantastic four are my favorite comic book heroes! and i agree about tobey too. i saw those blue eyes of his and i was hooked and i went back and saw all his old movies. love wonder boys! and also pleasantville and cider house rules and ride with the devil lol

lets see i also like star wars so i'll check out your other group too. um, harry potter, x-men, men in black and stargate

I thought Spiderman was a brilliant film. Tobey Maguire is a very good actor. Not seen him in anything else yet.
