Same scene, later on: "Where are you going?" "To get a drink." Anakin and Obi-Wan. Always makes me smile. My other favs have already been mentioned: "I hate it when he does that." Obi-Wan to himself when Anakin jumps out of the air speeder. "Then we came to rescue you." "Good job." Anakin and Obi-Wan. Ewan really sells this one-liner with his expression, glancing up at the manacles. But I definately didn't like the way too cliche "This is such a drag," and "I'm quite beside myself," by 3P0. Make me groan every time... or cover my ears. They so detract from the intricacy and drama of the battle going on around them. Sound like lines Lucas' kid came up with. I would have rather seen more of JarJar. Even his inadvertant, "Dellow Felegates," was much funnier. Here's hoping Lucas gets some more mature writing help on Episode III. | |

I didn't like those lines 3PO said either. They were really stupid and did interfere with the scene. I guess those were for the kids, since most of ep I was for the kids and not much of ep II was aimed at them, he must have had to throw something in. But it was really dumb and annoying.

Yeah, I heard a lot of groaning at those lines. Anything that pulls the audience out of the movie and makes them aware that they are watching said movie is a mistake. Those lines were unnecessary, too, since the only people who would really enjoy them are kids from about 8 to 12. Any older and they'd groan, too, and any younger and they wouldn't get it or wouldn't be paying enough attention to hear it. Whatever. If I had his money, I do whatever the frell I wanted, too. :dead:

"Lost a planet, Master Obi-Wan has. How embarassing..." And: "You don't want to sell me death-sticks." "I don't want to seel you death-sticks." "You want to go home and reconsider your life." "I want to go home and reconsider my life." Also like the drink one ![]()

You've already pointed the funniest lines, about the 'good job' and etc, But when I read the script, I was caught on this moment: Obi-Wan: "Where are you going?! He went down there, the other way." Anakain: "This is a shortcut... I think." Obi-Wan: "What do you mean, ‘You think?’ What kind of shortcut?! He went completely the other way! You’ve lost him!" Anakin: "Master, if we keep this chase going, that creep’s gonna end up deep fried. Personally, I’d very much like to find out who in the hell he is and who he’s working for..." Obi-Wan: "Oh, so that’s why we’re going in the wrong direction." ------ hm.. just noticed whne I saw the movie, this conversation never were.. oh well.. so much for my memory!
