I actually do quite like it I admit, the braid and all... but maybe it would get in the way a bit. Think.. eating soup.... ew.... If Jedi eat soup. Maybe they don't. Maybe you have to be a master to eat soup. Who knows? Yes that was today's ramble. To stand up for the Jedi, now, they get a nice palace and pretty things but Palpatine just gets, er, total dominion and a lot of black. What was my point again? I think I'll stay human ![]()

With the Jedi, you're also taken from your home and family, but you're usually so young that you don't remember them anyway. Sad for the family, but not for the Padawan. The Jedi become your new family.

i would definetly have to say GO SITH, now most of my decision is based on the fact that i could have Force lightning, but i think that the whole lightsabers being diffrent and more force powers is worth it, but i do have to say that i there are several force powers that i would like but couldnt have cause they are only for light side jedi ![]()

Jedi's aren't allowed to posses anything. Marrying would be in a sense possession. The Sith on the other hand use emotions in battle which is a strenth. maul's weakness was he toyed with Obi-Wan and allowed Obi-Wan to get the advantage. As to the point of only two Sith at one time, Palpatine is shrewd and probably knows that having a number of them around could be his undoing. Remember Dooku did say one truth to Obi-Wan about the Senate being under the control of a Dark Lord of the Sith. "Join me Obi-Wan and we can destroy the Sith." I believe that if Obi-Wan had accepted, Dooku would have made a play for power. This was the original downfall of the Sith in the first place.

And remember what Yoda said at the end of TPM: "Always two there are; a master and an apprentice." Any more and the desire for power would cause them all to make a bid for the title of "master." I think you're right, Comdr, in that Dooku would have tried to overthrow Sidius with Obi-Wan as his apprentice if Obi-Wan had given in. Same with Vader and his attempt to draw in Luke as his apprentice; they both tried to lure in an apprentice by appealing to the younger man's desire to stop the current Sith master, thereby replacing him themselves. Seems to be the only real ploy they have, eh?

If you read the ROTJ novelization that is Vader's plan. The book goes into greater detail on how Vader will have to help Luke along when he stumbles(Luke looking to kill Palpatine). I believe he even mentions it at the end of Empire to Luke(We can rule the galaxy together as Father and Son).
