| Re: The Scar It's not a series - each book is more or less entirely standalone. There is no need to read any other book to understand the story in any of them. They are just set in the same world in roughly the same time period. I think for traditional fantasy fans, the Scar probably is the best place to start - and while it's in the same world, it's got less of the urban horror element of PSS. Anyway, I still think PSS is the best of Mieville's books so far. |
