Blatantly, they then go on to be the storm troopers, but how do they end up in the servitude of Vader and the Emperor (Palpatine)? My guessing is that Palpatine is such a powerful wielder of the force, that he can control all their minds. All at once. After all, they must be weak minded to be so obedient.

My single simple answer....

"How do they end up in the sevitude of Vader and the Emperor"

Answer: They already were in AOTC.

Abso-freakin-lutely, hopskip! And in case anyone still has doubts about Darth Sidious being the same person as Palpatine, listen to the music. It's a great cue. As Dooku lands on Coruscant, the music changes to the "Emperor's Theme" as heard on the ROTJ soundtrack. And I'm NOT talking about the Imperial Theme that's usually associated with Darth Vader, but the Emperor's Theme that is played when Vader greets his master, the emperor, on the new Death Star.

Just noticed that today, when I saw AOTC for the 10th time. LOVE that digital picture!
