Re: from where it's hot and dry . . .

Must be a dust cloud if it's hot and dry - El Paso? Yes, I remember. After weeks of everywhere in Texas serving us steaks, the promoter's wife made us a chile con carne to kill for.
And another Bujold fan, to boot! I'll really have to get enough posts together on the "general books" section to get her her own "authors" slot (difficult, as dedicated science fiction readers are a minority here, but what worth while endeavour is easy?) Perhaps I'll attempt to get the lady herself to drop in; you know she's promised to write another "Vorkostigan" book? (not when, and I'm enjoying the "Challion" series, but still) Have you found "Winterfair gifts"? (I think that's right, though I haven't)
If you hadn't already guessed, you're welcome. Ah, you'd thought so before but are now getting somewhat nervous? Understandable, but no worries, we've not lost all of a newbie for ages. Find your way around; next week it doubles in size. New building going on everywhere, you're just in time.
And welcome yet again; please wax lyrical about grandchildren (assuming, of course, that the so merit )
