| See, Stargate is now a self living universe, quite big now. So I'm wondering, since Sci-Fi universes have their own resource guides, like the Incredible Cross Section and Visual Dictionnary for Star Wars (there are more but this an example), or the other ones for Star Trek (I suppose), is there something similar for Stargate ? Anything planed ? I would really be interested to have deckplans of Ha'Tak ships or know the real plan of the SGC, for example. Even more if it was drawn by the guys who were responsible of the latest ICS for Star Wars. |

| In this case, real world issues are probably the major factor: a) the market for such books - MUCH smaller than Star Wars / Trek b) access to suitable on-set design information to appropriately talented authors/artists c) copyright d) momentum and desire to do it We have already seen there is limited marketing for SG-1, although this may change when the film comes out. You could always email/write to the MGM executives. |
