On Friday, Jan 10, "Once More, With Feeling" won a TV Guide poll:

"Which music moment from the '90s to the present rocked TV the most?"

With 27% of almost 8,000 votes cast (2,115), it handily beat, by three times over, its closest competition:

Elton John performing "Candle in the Wind" at Princess Diana's funeral (700 - 9%)

America: A Tribute to Heroes and Concert for New York City, 2001 (600 - 8%)

Eric Clapton's Unplugged "Tears in Heaven" tribute to his son Connor (410 - 5%)

"Firefly" was a runner-up in the category of "The Best Show You Can't Watch Because It Got Canceled".

MSN Entertainment has published Amy Amatangelo's (from Zap2it.com) list of:

10 favorite television kisses of all time<-- LINK

Buffy and Spike's lustful clench at the end of "Tabula Rasa" came in second behind Alias' Sydney and Vaughn.

Buffy and Angel's shining moment from the Angel episode "I Will Always Remember You" came in #8.

-----

Personally, I think Buffy sorrowfully kissing Angel in "Becoming, Pt. II" outranks both of them.

What do you think?

Commenting here - (how'd I miss this? anyway) --

Yeah - I agree - the "Becoming" kiss outranks the "TR" kiss and the "IWRY" kiss ---

I woulda ranked "IWRY" higher than "TR" -- mostly b/c I don't like the "TR" kiss --

okay - actually went to the site:

2. Buffy and Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in "Tabula Rasa": As the camera panned away from Michelle Branch singing the apropos "Goodbye to You," and snuck around the corner, viewers saw Spike and Buffy hungrily making out. The lustful duo have had their share of fiery moments (and sweet ones like in "Once More With Feeling" ), but this kiss demonstrated their mutual attraction at its most base level.

ummm -- WHAT? that kiss did nothing of the sort - that wasn't about Buffy being attracted to Spike - that was about Buffy being upset b/c Giles was leaving and Spike just happened to be there - this was the beginning of the Buffy who hated herself using Spike for her own agenda --- mutual attraction my @$$... grrr argh

sorry - had to rant there b/c that was just - wrong -- and not even b/c I'm anti-'spuffy' (what a stupid word - spuffy, but anyway) -- but b/c she got it wrong - that's not what that kiss was about -- at least not from what I was watching --

and I still like the "Becoming" kiss better ---
