ok, granted palpatine and obi wan and everybody else may take some responsibility for this whole thing, but the real responsibility lies with anakin. he's old enough to know right from wrong and him going to the dark side is/was all up to him

We have to take the ultimate responsibility for our actions, why should Anakin be any different?

that's cause we want to believe the best about anakin. it's hard to reconcile the big scary darth vader we knew as kids with a sweet little blonde-haired kid or especially a good-lookin older anakin. even though we know how it will end (basically) part of us wants things to work out in the end. we want it not to be anakin's fault

Can we please stop cussing the darkside?! Vader is/was so cool!!!!! Cooler than Darth Maul, cooler than any other character. You just can't beat that evil android style!
