Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but...

WOW! What an eppy! It had everything I love about Farscape (except Claudia ) - Action, Sex, Humor, and John getting the dren beat out of himself !

OK, so John wasn't faking with the whole "yes mistress Grayza" thing. But he did find a way to beat her "allure". And speaking of Grayza, what was that about the "sex" implant being for concubines? Does this mean Commandant Cleavage is a whore for real? Or at least used to be? As with all things Farscape, I'm sure time will tell.

And seeing Chiana get totally intense this season is a huge improvement to her character. Not that there was anything wrong with her before, but now it's like she's all "I've had all I can stand and I'm not gonna take it anymore!" I knew there had to be a point where the whole playful scamp part of her personality would get worn down by everything she's been through and now we're seeing the tough survivor side of Chiana. And I LOVE it!

So the old woman has a name. And she tells us finally. Naranti. I've read that somewhere else but didn't want to spoil it for anyone else.

And did we see a little bit of the softer side of Rygel when he was leaving Elack? Could be the little guy does in fact have a heart. If only the size of a peanut.

D'Argo and Jool. What can I say about this. They obviously had some kind of deeper connection and it'll be sad not to see this explored. But Jool is staying on the planet (cuz Tammy is doing another show I hear) and D'Argo is on the run with the rest of the crew. I don't think anything "romantic" would have developed but I do see that they finally had started to respect each other more than when they first met. Who knows what could have happened...

And poor Crichton. I don't think I've seen a eppy lately with so much cruelty towards our favorite "astronut". How many times did he jump off that cliff? Plus all the punches, tongue flicks (by far the funniest moment of this ep), kicks, gunshots, attempted drownings and having to make out with that witch Grayza. Just when things seem to be going great for John, this happens and he's back to getting his arse kicked. Oh well, when you run out of jokes just punch Crichton. That seems like a running theme for the writers .

And Scorpy...!!! Was he faking? Or was the yellow rod wearing off? Is he still buried on the planet? Or did he dig himself out? How will he get off the planet? Is this the last we've seen of the man in black leather?

Tune in next week for - Lava's a Many Splendored Thing!!!

Thumbs up

This was an awesome episode. Love it!
Good point MS, poor Crichton. I think he wouldn't like to be near a cliff more. Love when Naranti(Wrinkles) throw Winona there, that was hilarious. Poor Scorpy, I hope when he says to Sikozu don't let them buried me, it was a plan because he knows that exactly what Grayza will do. Who knows maybe the dirt give him strenght. I'm seeing too much scifi. It was a great episode from beginning to end.

By the way, did anyone notice the actress that is going to be in Stargate next week. Did anyone know is she is Sikozu? She looks very similar to the actress that play Sikozu. Haven't much time to see her but she looks very similar.

Poor Crichton, felt really sorry for him although he did figure a way out.

Sorry to see Jool stay, have really begun to like her character. However it was a nice way to leave her character.

As for Scorpy can't quite believe he is dead. After all how many times has he been "killed" before. Take more than shooting him and burying him alive to kill him.

And once again Farscape wraps up great two parter.

Crichton kicked butt and overcame another mind altering drug. Hasn't anyone learned that John cannot be controlled for long? He always finds a way out of the situation. One of the things I really love about Ben's character is the fact that he actually thinks his way through a problem. I had forgotten about that bug thing until John had that flashback.

I loved Chaina in this episode. She knew how to take care of herself before, but her survival instinct seems to have been pumped up a notch this season. Her new attitude is great. I would not want to mess with her now.

Chi and Jool worked well together in this ep. too. It's a big change from their dislike of each other in season three. Jool screamed and melted the restraints, and then she and Chaina kicked those PKs in the face, that was an awesome scene.

One of my favorite parts of this episode was all the talk of John's gun, Winona. Only Crichton would jump off of a cliff to save his pulse pistol.

"Winona would never do this, because Winona is very reliable!"

I'm surprised D'Argo was so quick to trust Sikozu. I would have thought him to be more skeptical of her.

Watching Elack dive into the planet was a sad moment. It was a very fitting way for Pilot and him to go out. I liked how that scene played out.

I didn't like the way they portrayed Braca in this episode. Even when working for Scourpy he wasn't as spineless as he this.

It's too bad Jool left. I was really beginning to like her character. Not nearly as much as Zhann, but it's still sad to see her go. She and D'Argo were good together. I would have liked to see their relationship focused on a little more.

Question for this Episode:

Is that a new puppet they're usingfor Rygel? It looks very different. I thought he looked strange in Crichton Kicks, but I wasn't sure.
