I kind of have a bad and a good news,

good:Space channel is going to buy stargate but they don't know when they will start to air it.Here is the email i got from them:
''Thanks for the e-mail. We are currently looking into obtaining the rights to air "Stargate SG-1" for future programming, but are unsure of when it will premiere. We will keep you posted on our website as soon as we get word.''

Bad:Global Québec (as well as the other globals i think) didn't buy the rights to season 6!!!! I don't know if this mean that they will stop showing Stargate or they will just show older episodes.Here is the email i got from them:
''We don't have the rights to broadcast the new series and I am not sure whose got them for Canada.''
this sucks soo bad!!! For those of you who want to contact Global here is their mail Blanchet, Manon (CKMI Quebec)

This means bassically that we canadians won't be able to see season 6 any time soon (except if space channel put it on soon).=<

OK, I'm gonna say it again... Stargate is filmed in Canada for cry'ing out loud! Why can't we see it????

Answer: $$$$$$'s. A TV network/station in Canada has to buy the rights to broadcast the show. The fact that the show is "made in Canada" has nothing to do with where and when it is broadcasted. And the show is "made in Canada" because the production costs are cheaper. Then the studios/production company sells the show to the highest bidder/s.

this realyl is no fair .... frist they stop stargate then i found out that they aren't shwing any of my other fav show........ i so nee to get my parents to buy a dish.....

I emailed Global Victoria in BC. They have the rights to broadcast Season 6 of Stargate SG-1 starting in January 2003. So British Columbians are safe!!!!

Well I think it's save to say that my TV year is ruined... First , THere is not plan for season 6 to be presented in Quebec...
And second... I had finally convinced my parents to buy a dish so I could catch MacGYver from WGN... BUt no the stupid channel canceled the show before I even got my dish!!! And to make it worst... I will have to limit my downloads because the internet company now as a limit of files you can download per month... So... the stargate and Macgyver I could get from the internet are gonna be reduced... a lot...

How can a girl possibly survive this?

i sometimes think that the ppl that do programing our out to get me ..... all socalled good shows that they put on are pieces of trash ! i mean who need 9 differnt cops and robers show .... i want sg1 one back y can't terrorist do somethign constructive like getting good show on the air instead of killing ppl ?.... oh yeah .. must go against thier protocol..... this sxus big time!
