| Re: Who was the better character in the films? alrighty. It was just released here in the states in September. It was nominated for some golden globes...but that doesn't always guarantee a worthy movie. But he looked like he played a cool character. The movie looked pretty dark though. |

| Re: Who was the better character in the films? For me Gandalf (Ian McKellen) especially in the Fellowship. After that probably Theoden (Bernard Hill), such emotion in his acting and great speeches. (I know Theoden wasn't in the Fellowship but just wanted to say). |

| Re: Who was the better character in the films? I totally agree with Lacedaemonian. Sam was the best member of the fellowship. If not for him (and Gollum actually), everyone would have died. |
