Another day without Ausgate

I know that everybody's working as hard as they can . I'm studying to be functional in the IT sector, and I certainly know what pain in the mik'ta certain computers can be. I really admire the guys/girls working on the project. I think they deserve an applause.Cause they're working day and night (and occasionally taking a Star Wars Break) to get this New server up and running. So in this thread you can give credits to the people that are working on the Ausgate project.

I also hope the NEW Ausgate will be online before my exams start (normally in 2 weeks, but someone also has to study)

Also, just to let you all know... This is the first time I have touched the computer in 3 days, and I may not have much time to do anything over the next few.

I have just spent the last 3 days with my 3 year old son in hospital with 2nd degree burns. He's OK, and we came home today, but with 3 days of practically no sleep, I might be fairly incapacitated over the weekend (ie. I will be sleeping).

He will need some long term treatment, and if we can keep infections away, the doctors say that he will have little or no scarring at all. Here's hoping.

I've just logged on, and havn't checked all of my emails yet, so I don't know that the status with Geekman is at the moment, but it still looks like the new server will be a while away.

I know that you will get round to the website whenever you get round to it, it has to come second place behind your family! We'll all still be here when you do get the chance to get back online

It's great that he is OK.
I hope he gets over it as quickly as possible and I wish him all the best.
Also,I hope this doesnt stress you and your wife out too much.I know that if this happened to one of my sons Id be stressing out bigtime.
All I can say is that I hope the rest of the year ends up better for you guys that the first part.

It was such a shocker to hear that. If any of my children, that I babysit, got a.. third degree burn was it??.. I would be the same way. Hope he feels better soon. And keep those infections away.

I was sorry to hear about your little boy, you all have a long hard road ahead of you, but I'm sure that you're family will all pull together and help each other through this. Know also that you have the warmest and kindest thoughts of most if not all of us at your other "baby", Ausgate. Your family comes first at times like this, and always, but know that your other newer family will be waiting patiently for your return to us with more good news about your boy

At times like these, it good to know all you friends and family are standing behind you and praying for you and your son... there are a lot of us out here doing just that. Your #1 family should always come first and that's where you belong right now so don't worry about us.. just spend all the time you can with your son. He needs you the most now.
