:alienooh: I'm new to this whole DVD phenomenom so i have no clue when the Buffy ppl are releasing different seasons on DVD, so doesnt anyone know when season 6 is coming out? I know its new and all but i need to know. Thanks for all your help.

Welcome to ascifi!

You are probably in for quite a wait for season six of Buffy. They have put out the last three seasons (2,3, and 4) with six to eight month gaps between them. As season four has only just been released it will likely be minimum a year before we get season six. But possibly longer as season six is only hot off the presses, so to speak. Keep an eye out on www.amazon.co.uk and www.play.com These websites will advertise the new Buffy DVDs from about a month or so before they become available.

In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed for re-runs and watch out for when BBC 2 starts showing it.

The little aliens that appear underneath the usernames are 'rewards,' so to speak, for longevity. The more you visit ASciFi and the more you post, the more aliens you acquire. The aliens are 'awarded' based on the number of posts you have made at the site.

There is a thread in the General Discussions section, under the sub-section "Post Clubs and Alien Threads" that lists the number of posts required for each alien. (apologies for not have the link at my fingertips, but I can drop it here if you'd like)

and feel free to head over to either "ASciFi Announcements" or "Gen Discussions" and ask any other questions you might have.

As for S6 on DVD - yeah - it's probably gonna be a while. Tho region 2 will see it LONG before region1 --

Blimey, is this the first postings of Sammy O'Neill??

S6 DVD (R2) is scheduled for May 12 release on 12th of May

www.play.com have it for £57 (although they confused me as they still have the release date as 14th April, it was put back to May.

Yeah they put it back a month so that they could release OMWF on DVD first. Don't think i'll buy S6 Buffy (i ended up getting it on vid, i'm so impatient), but i'll probably save up for either S3 or 4 Angel or S6 X-Files, i can't decide.

I've not bought S3 Angel cos I can only afford one set at the moment, and for me, Buffy comes first!
