Exclamation Season 4 - "Widescreen"

Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but...

Forgot to mention that one of the interesting little tidbits I picked up about Season 4 is that it's being filmed in the 16 X 9 aspect ratio. For those of you unfamiliar, this is one of the formats used for widescreen presentation. I'm not sure of the specifics but I believe it's about the same as other shows being seen in widescreen such as Angel, Enterprise and The Sopranos. I assume that SciFi will be airing the eppys in this format same as Babylon 5 which will be really cool. I always thought they should have used that format from the get go because Farscape is such an epic series the more you get onscreen the larger the feel. But we won't know for a couple more weeks so hang in there.

I assume this is going to be the case for the rest of the run. I can't imagine them doing just one season in the middle of the series in widescreen then going back to full screen. But they've done stranger things...

Later Scapers...

Until I can get a bigger tv , I like full screen. If I had a big screen tv I would love widescreen. It would be like watching Star Wars

Glad the widescreen thing works. Unfortunately the Mysterious Stranger does not, as of yet, have a widescreen TV. However, if you would like him to, you can send your donations to -

I like the new widescreen. It is not as narrow as a picture I have seen in the past on scifi, so I am surprisingly pleased.
