Christensen is eager to wear Vader's helmet.

Hayden Christensen has revealed that he's ready for Anakin Skywalker to embrace the dark side of the Force when he begins filming Episode III next year. "I'm looking forward to it," Christensen said in an interview. "I can only extrapolate from what's been told in the previous trilogy about my character."

Christensen added, "I have to murder the entire Jedi race. I'm extremely psyched to put on [Darth Vader's] helmet. I was always hoping that I'd get to wear the dark helm. That's the only thing I'll ever ask George [Lucas] about, is getting to wear the Darth Vader outfit. He likes to give me a wink-wink, nudge-nudge. I have actually put it on, but just for the hell of it. The last time I was here [at Skywalker Ranch], I was checking out the archives, and I saw the Darth Vader helmet. I got a picture of myself in this gray tracksuit that day, with this enormous Darth Vader helmet. It looked really funny."

It's been ages since there were any new rumours....

Hayden Christensen confirmed that fans will recognize a key sound.

"Yes," Christensen told the newspaper. "You'll hear the breathing." He added, "I might get in trouble just for saying that. I do get to finalize my character arc, and where that ends up most people know."

Christensen added, "There's an amazing light-saber fight that'll knock people's socks off. Geographically, it covers the most distance of any other swordfight on film. And depending on the way they cut it, it should be the longest swordfight, timewise, that's ever been on film."
It seems like he will be playing Vader then.

I thought they'd bring James Earl Jones back for the voice, and maybe someone else behind the mask. Christensen isn't tall enough -- is he?

It seems like he will don the mask AND do the voice, but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't know, I think he's pretty tall. I seem to remmeber him towering over everyone in AOTC but then Ewan McGreggor's quite tiny .
