3.79 : Turnabout Intruder.

The final episode.

Another old girlfriend of Kirk turns up. Unable to become a Captain herself she develops a mechanism capable of switching minds between bodies and takes the place of Kirk.

The only occasion in "Star Trek" that a performer other than William Shatner portrayed Captain James T. Kirk.

Nurse Chapel having grown tired of being a blonde, becomes a brunette for this one single final episode.

Lt. Galloway who was vapourized by Captain Ronald Tracey in 'The Omega Glory' has recovered and appears in this episode!

Turnabout Intruder

This was also William Shatner's showcase Episode- He recieved much praise for his feminime mannerisms as he was Dr Janice Lester trapped Inside the body of Captain Kirk.

He did his best when he as lester-kirk when the crew rejects his/her command. i have to say that is the best shatner did. The Captain should require repest but what happens when they don't get it.

it shows there's more to being Captain than rank.
