Okay - there will be **SPOILERS** for season 6 in this thread!! You have been warned! So, the 3 nerds - the Troika - the Arch-Nemesisisees --- Warren, we knew from before -the guy w/ the robot girlfriend, and Jonathan wanted to be a Superstar! (he's kinda been in and out of the series from the beginning), and Andrew - well, he says that he's the brother of some other guy - the one who released the dogs at Prom (I think) - Basically - they're a big bunch of nerds who decide that one day they want to take over Sunnydale - actually, Warren suggests it and the rest agree. They run around making trouble all over town and then realize that the Slayer might be a problem, so they decide to get her out of the way as well. (Like she didn't have enough to deal with already!) So - shall we discuss?

yeah - season 6 Buffy would have too, if they stopped having her worry about 'oh no, i came back wrong, boohoo' -- sorry - got snarky there, but whining Buffy gets on my nerves - these 3 nerds need to take a hike tho -- they're more annoying than any of the other 'bads' ---

Hey Good thread HII - I was thinking of starting this the other day, but I couldn't remember all the names  Warren, Jonathon and the other one... Ok, one thing that I have been thinking a lot about these kids is: POOR JONATHON - he seems to be the stereotypical good kid mixed up with a bad crowd. I know he isn't exactly perfect, but then the theme of season six Buffy seems to be that no one is (perfect I mean, sorry I am being confusing again!). I can't understand why he is hanging around with Warren - it has been obvious for quite some time that Warren isn't quite all there. And Andrew - don't get me started, what a total pain in the xxxx! Do you think we have seen the last of these three - as a threesome anyway?

yeah - I'm 'remember the names girl' (most of the time) - Jonathan's been around since season 1 (IIRC) - and he hasn't always been perfect, but he's a pretty 'typical' person on the show - except he has 'magical' powers - (warlock-ish) -- honestly - Warren doens't really have any -powers - his whole deal was that he was ticked that his real girlfriend left b/c she found out about his robot girlfriend, so, he was really (IMO) trying to get back at her - hence the necessary addition of Andrew and Jonathan to his 'tribe' - he couldnt' do what he wanted to do on his own, so he had to have some friends - friends w/ magic capability -- and so, we've got a dead girl now, and Warren chasing and trying to kill Buffy - are they done as a 3-some? Probably --- Jonathan and Andrew are in jail - for now, and Warren is running loose somewhere -- but - anything is possible -

oh they *so* are! I'm so tired of seeing them around, tho the episode where they made Buffy invisible was funny! I'm sick of their stupid tricks and dumb ideas - they're like Wile E. Coyote trying to catch the roadrunner - they paint the tunnel on the side of a mountain and Buffy just runs right through it like it really *is* a tunnel -- Very annoying. They could all just fall away and I wouldn't miss them at all!

Hmmm, it might just be me, but I think that "the trio" are among the more interesting of Buffy's villians, from what I've seen so far. I especially liked the episode in which they enslave Warren's ex-girlfriend, kill her and--through the use of demons--convince Buffy that she killed her. The dramatic tension was impressive in that episode, since the dead ex-girlfriend forced the Trio to decide whether or not they could truly commit themselves to being villians. I'll admit they can be annoying at times (again, from what I've seen--meaning Season Six), but they're also surprisingly good at what they do--albeit rather haphazardly and on the fly. Sure, they're not a huge physical threat to Buffy, but they're intelligent enough to plot crimes (such as the diamond heist) and follow through on them. And their humanity is a nice counterpoint to the demons, vampires, and other creatures who attack Buffy.
