ok listen to this Trelawney does keep predicting his death well what if it was one of the few things that she seees right. I mean Rowling did say there would be a small epilogue about the SURVIVORS of the war what if he dies in battle or something.

Sin you can spoiler this if its giving anything away sorry if it is.

I don't think it is dmalfoy.

If Harry dies? hmm...

Personally I dont' think it will happen - as the books end after the 7th book, it's likely that Voldemort will be killed off and that'll be it.
With some kind of Epilogue about what happens to the survivors in later years, answering questions people have, ie about Ron/Hermione Harry/Hermione Harry/Cho Chang and anyone else...

no i was thinking that both harry and Voldie die. but I think a major char will probably die like Snape or Ron.

You're both right - Rowling has said that a major character will die, but I cant remember which book - either 5 or 7. I am moving this thread to books soon....but will leave it here for a while longer so you wont get confused when It's no longer here! But dont let that stop you posting in it. There's no harm in speculation.

okay, just finished #4(again)
1st & formost Poor cedric!!! he was really a sweet boy!(notice there's not much written about interaction between houses)hmmm,
My theorys on future story lines are; 1st in the end off #4 Dombledor sent peeps off to spread the word that voldmort was back w/ a convoy(hagrad & the other 1/2 giant) going off to speak to giants so he thinks a war is eminate he goes further by also telling the whole school (which inturn w/tell family) the same.now, fudge(head of ministry of magic)is in denial about the whole thing soo is going to be pretty upset w/Dumbledor for spilling the beans regarding "he who can't be named" & at lest part of the next book will probably be the internal agurment btw those 2, also please note that Dumbledor annuced to Mrs. wheasley & to Snape that he had been in contact w/Sirius so thats going to reflect on dumbledor when that gets out(harbering criminals,& so on) remembr sirius is still not cleared... so i think we'll be hearing more about the dementors in # 5..regarding the gang(harry, ron & Hermione) i need to think about possible future going ons'we know harry mastered alot of wand atacks & i think that was 4 more then just the tournament but we shall see...
okay, i hope i didn't spoil this 4 anyone,( i really don't know if you think i needed one in this forum???)I just think it would be easier to read not in a spoiler.

It seems to me that the only way fro Voldermort 2 be destroyed is for pour Harry to die & she's admitted that she doesn't want 2 carry on the books after he leaves school - Rowling that is! & unfortantely the best way 2 do this is 2 kill off Harry

I can see Rowling killing Harry because that would enhance the Harry phenomenon, seven fabulous books where at the very end the hero dies saving the world.
But it would be cruel to the fans and he's gone through so much and survived so much to have him die at the end of it all.

The death in Book 5 is not Harry, it's Sirius.

There are major revelations about Trelawney's ability to prophesise too. It seems that once at least she did make a correct prophesy regarding Harry and Voldemort.

It seems that either Harry or Voldemort must die at the hands of the other. One of them will be killed by the other.

Apparently, JKR said in a recent interview that Harry will die at the end of Book 7, so finishing the franchise and preventing it going on for ever. That doesn't seem to square with the prophecy revealed in Book 5.

Unless both Voldemort and Harry die together in some final battle.

No that can't happen!

Maybe Harry wakes up from a very vivid dream, he raises his hands to his forehead to feel his lightning bolt scar...but wait...no, it was just a dream. Harry hears his mother, Lily, call him from downstairs,
"Harry, love! Breakfast!"
Harry, gets dressed slowly, glances at himself in the mirror and shakes his head. That was a very wierd dream.

Hmmm, I think I like that ending even less than Daves.
