| New Clan Round Robin.....(READ NOW, I ORDER YOU) I was thinking...we ought to try a new clan RR. But with a few ground rules in place.  Here's some suggestions. 1) If you start posting in the RR, unless something life altering/threatening comes up, please don't just stop. It kinda ruins the idea. 2) Only canonish characters from shows allowed to make appearances and only one of each. This means no muses/clones/etc. 3)Have fun! Who's with me?? *bounces* I've got an idea for one, btw.... ~ana |

| I take it we're not limiting this to HL - b/c I know some of our clan members aren't necessarily HL fans -- (tho, i dunno why they wouldn't be  )okay - can I toss in another suggestion? this might be really fun - or we can save it for another RR - each 'writer' chooses a character and writes from that character's POV - the writer doens't necessarily only have to write that character's actions, just everything from that character's POV. example: Say I choose - Mr. Lyle as my character, and there are 3 other writers, and they have Horseman Methos, Wedge, and Spongebob. I would write my part as told by Mr. Lyle, but I would include the actions of Methos, Wedge, and Spongebob. ala --> **** Would you look at this? Who is that fool with the blue paint on his face? And a sponge? What is "that" doing here? You know, I could be chasing Jarod, but NO, I have to be here, with this freak show! **** just an example --- what does everyone think of that? i was just thinking of a way to keep it from being a 'traditional' style RR - not that those are bad, but this might put an interesting twist on things --- |

| nah -- just choose a character, or yourself, and write from that POV - and you don't have to be in the RR - i'm not gonna be -- so -- who's gonna start? was that ana who said she had an idea brewing????? |

Erm....anyway, my idea...yeah...RR, let's get it started. *waves to Swing Girl* =================== Start the RR =================== Clan MacSlow RR - "Why College Really is Frightening or...The Things They Ought to Teach You in School" It was a dark and stormy night... Okay, so it was actually the middle of a bright and sunny May afternoon. The story just isn't going to have the same ring like that. *ana sighs* As i said, it was the middle of the afternoon. It was hot as May afternoons usually are. It was also humid. Believe me, this actually has much to do with the story. Sitting in an overly warm classroom learning boring physics equations was a young, blonde girl named Ana. This young blonde girl was not paying attention at all to what her professor was writing on the board, instead, she was doodling in her notebook (this would come back to haunt her at exam time, but that's another story). Just when Ana thought she would die from the boredom, the door to the classroom burst open and two dueling swordsmen entered the room. All Ana could do was blink in surprise, then look utterly confuzzled as dueling swordsmen should NOT be in a classroom. Then she thought one of the swordsmen looked familiar and took a closer look. When she realised who the tall man with dark hair, hazel eyes, and a patrician's nose was, she about fell out of her seat in shock. Said man with the patrician's nose was too busy battling his opponent to notice they were being stared at by about fifty students and one extraordinarily surprised Chinese professor. .....tbc.... (okay, my brain is leaving me...someone continue... and anyone think I drew this from RL? Well...except for the dueling Immie's bit....I wish it was from RL. )~ana |

| Methos POV (just thought we should put in the 'subject line' which character we're writing - should help) ----------------------------------------- RR Bit ----------------------------------------- It was a dark and stormy night... Okay, maybe not. It was a bright, hot humid, sunny afternoon and some pip-squeak immortal was trying for my head. Who does he think he is? And why is this happening in the middle of a university campus? And in front of, oh, I don't know, 40 witnesses? Morons. All of them. (The immortal pip-squeaks, not the witnesses.) The students are all sitting there in the class, thinking that we have no idea that they're watching. Well, pip-squeak here probably doesn't, but I catch everything. These students will be traumatized for life. Or, they'll be so intrigued that they'll want to be just like me. Okay, there is one other option, they'll forget all about this as though it never happened. That's the one I'm hoping for. 'Duck Methos. Remember this kid's got some swing on him and that sword is just as sharp as yours.' Gotta love it when you have to remind yourself to fight sometimes. Forget it. I'll just take this kid's head and be done with... Hey! Where are you going? Get back here! I wasn't done with you! NEXT!! |

| Krycek's POV For all intents and purposes it should be a dark and stormy night... However the people in charge decided that I needed to get the folder from that professor and I needed to get it now. I hate killing people in the middle of a sunny afternoon. Unfortunately I need to let them think I'm a good little lapdog, at least for the time being. They aren't going to have Alex Krycek to kick around much longer though. Hey! that guy just ran into me like I wasn't even there and then took off. No way am I going to let some snot-nosed punk get away with that. I'll go after him and...wait a minute...who's that guy coming out of the room snot-nose was running from? Something tells me he's dangerous.... Next! |
