I'll bet he noticed the sarcasm in that line. I'll have to run a check on this guy though. Something tells he's not as mild-mannered as he seems to be. Now for the girl.

"It was nice to meet you as well Ana. I'm sorry to have to run off like this but you know how things are. Maybe we'll meet again one day."

Now to get out of here and back on schedule. It's not a good idea to keep a man like that waiting.

Yeah, he's totally not buying that. Oh well, I have more important things to worry about than whether or not this guy, looks like a government agent to me, believes my impromptu cover story or not. Hope lovely Ana isn't too put off with me and my disappearing act that's gonna take place any minute.

Okay, I'll back up just a bit, I found this college campus, and MAN is this place just teeming with non-humans. I have NO idea what some of these are, but human they are not. I've been wandering around, keeping a low-profile, and getting the lay of the land. Well, I saw this place here <points to building> and thought I saw a shadow pass the window, so I've come up here to investigate.

Kinda wish I had Buffy on my six - okay, that didn't come out quite right - you know what I mean. Would be nice to have the rest of the Initiative guys along too, but I don't, so I'm on my own.

So, *Hmm. Wonder what's in here?*

I open the door.....

I turn around expecting to see my so-called boss so I can report on my mission, deliver this file and get back to more important things like watching the collage co-eds. Why is it that things never run smoothly around here. Instead this guy who looks like he should be pulling weeds in some Iowa cornfield is standing there with a stupid look on his face. On closer inspection that might be the only look he's capable of.

Better find out what he's doing here before you know who comes back...

The only reply for a moment that both of them got was a raised eyebrow.

Then the man studied Riley up and down.

"I see," he finally said.

For another tense moment he glared a Riley, sensing he was a bit more than he said he was.

That, and Riley is a terrible lier.

"Come into my office, I'll call the Dean for you."

The way he said it, it was obvious this wasn't a request, it was an order.

It's not easy to resist the urge to chuckle at the look on Iowa's face right about now. I didn't think I'd ever see anyone who was as bad a liar as Scully. Just goes to show you that you never really do see everything no matter what your line of work.
