A question (regarding Archer and Trip.) - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

I am writing an Enterprise fan fic and have a question. I thought I remembered an episode where Archer mentioned that he has known Trip for ten years. I couldn't for the life of me remember what episode it was, though. I'm not even really sure if it was in the show. I've been reading a lot of Enterprise fan fic and it's quite possitble that I'm thinking of something I read.

I haven't a clue. Anyone else know?

Sorry, I don't recall it being aired. Archer acts like he has known Trip a long time, but I don't think there was anything specific in the 'Writers Guide' they produce before the start of a series.

That's okay, Dave. As I said, I've been reading a lot of fan fic, so maybe that's where I got that from. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I just thought I'd ask before I start writing.

Thanks, Ray. It's good to be here. As for the story, I hope so. I am a lot better at coming up with ideas than I am at actually finishing anything. I'm going to try my best with this though. I had two questions that I was wondering about. One, how did Archer react when he saw the engine explode in the episode "Shuttlepod One" and two, how did Trip get his nickname. I have an idea that will answer both these questions. I'll let you know when/if I get it done.

Its has never been mentioned in an episode as such... you can tell though they know each other by the way they act
