The agents' investigation of a mysterious death in a suburban neighborhood leads them to a man obsessed with "The Brady Bunch.''

Okay, I saw this episode and had to wonder what they thinking when they came up with this one. Yeah I know it's the end of the series and all that but please! Give those of us who are still hanging on a bit of credit guys

Doggett was good in it though:

"A to B to C" and "I think I'm starting to get the hang of this job."

I thought that the boy was an incredibly good likeness for his older self. Do you think it was actually old film of the same person? Or were they related in some way? Or just very good casting and make-up?

lol, i think i might be able to nearly say that i loved this ep. So ok, Brady Brunch. But i loved the Doggett/Reyes interaction, the wayi noticed Scully mentioned Mulders name at least 3 times throughout the ep - i dont know whether this was intentional by the writers so that we'd get excited
about Mulders return in Truth but if it was, it worked, i'm excited as hell!
I loved it when Scully laughed when Skinner was hanging in the air, and i loved it because the whole ep was light - i felt like the characters were happier because the actual actors knew it was the beginning of the end (with the finale being a two-parter).
Season 9 has been one of my fav seasons and nobodys more suprised than me to be saying this, and even i can realize that the plot in this was almost not there - a boy with telekinesis cos he was lonely? It was a happy ending waiting to happen and i for one loved it because there are far too few happy endings on the X-Files.

This was a good episode. Never watched The Brady Bunch myself. Loved the special effects. It was kind of sad that because of his loneliness the gentleman had to 'imagine' a family to keep him company.

Wasn't one of the boys at the beginning from 'Married With Children'? I also loved the fact that Scully kept mentioning Mulder. It was quite funny. Seeing this episode made me feel really sad knowing that as the series comes to an end Reyes/Doggett and Scully make a good team. :crying:

It had the boy who played Bud from "Married With Children in it".
Lol. Of course they had to show him drinking a "Bud" before he went into the house

I know the x-files is abou the unbelievable, but this was not only unbelievable but silly aswell.

*snickers* it was silly but it did make you laugh so that's a good thing...personally I put this one in the same catergory as "Bad Blood" Good episodes to watch when you just want to have a little fun.

oooh i don't think that's very fair to Bad Blood - i like that!! lol

no seriously - i thought it was a quite good light hearted episode, after Release it was a nice change. And i agree the most remarkable part was that Scully kept on mentioning Mulder

Yeah, Bad Blood was way better, but it was nice to see Doggett and Reyes more relaxed.

Loved Doggett's face when Reyes was babbling on about the Brady Bunch, that was classic!

One thing - at the very beginning of the ep, when the place and time came up at the bottom, i'm sure that the time was 11:62. Of course, it could just be my eyes, but it definately looked like a 6 to me.
