The only answer to this question that I know of is a spoiler that never was.... It was supposed to be included in an episode this season, but was cut out during editing. If you really want to know what the answer was supposed to be, check out the spoiler below. (Although since it was never broadcast there is nothing written in stone and it could be changed in a book, movie, etc. later.) She ran away... that's it... no big story... kinda anti-climatic, but that's the answer that they intended to present at one time, this season.

I may have this wrong because i don't search for season 7 stuff in case I find spoilers, and I've only watched each ep once, but... Didn't Buffy have a dream where she discovered the phrase 'From beneath you it devours?'.

Vampyre, I'm surprised at you. Posting a quote from Season Seven in a General Discussion Thread. Bad Vampyre. Seriously, I'm not sure about the dream thing, I'll have to look that up. BTW, it's good to see the Fourth Musketeer back again.

Well - there was more revealed (sort of) about Miss Kitty-Fantastico at the end of S7 -- Dawn said there was some sort of cross-bow incident with MK-F - don't know if this means that she accidently shot MK-F w/ the cross-bow that was left lying around 'willy-nilly' and MK-F is dead, or if MK-F was just wounded - there was no further dialogue on that point - but - that's the 'answer' -- slightly better than the 'she ran away' bit, I guess

Just to complete the record: In #124 "Beneath You", Buffy wakes up screaming as she dreams about the Alias-look-alike being killed in Frankfurt, including the phrase, "From beneath you, it devours." Whether this is a prophacy or "remote viewing" of a current event is unclear. #132 "Bring on the Night" Buffy dreams that her mother tells her to get some rest or she won't be able to beat the coming evil. A rather lame prophacy, if that's what it is. #137 "Get It Done" Buffy dreams of wandering through her house. She sees Chloe, the girl whom The First convinces later to commit suicide, crying in a corner - an obvious premonition. She is attacked by the First Slayer who tells her, "It's not enough.", which also turns out to be true. ============== And just to put down the actual words, when Xander and Dawn are supposedly searching his car for a missing crossbow - #143 - End of Days DAWN : Xander, my crossbow is not out here. I told you, I don’t leave crossbows around all willy-nilly. Not since that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico. Earlier spoilers reported that Miss KF had run away, but in the episode that was supposed to be revealed, it was reportedly cut due to time restrictions. In this later episode, I think they included this line to finally tie up this loose end, in a more interesting although probably tragic way.

I don't think anyone mentioned this but it sort of a dream fo what to come, in season 7, when Anya had turned Natalie's boyfriend into a worm, at the start Buffy had a dream about the second slayer with pink hair and the girl said "From Beneath you, it devours" I think that was propecy dream
