Hello Robert  Just read the brief description of your novel and have to say that it's certainly caught my interest, do you know if Amazon.co.uk are selling it? If so I think you can chalk up another copy as sold .The cover is a bit of a problem though, if someone asked me what kind of novel I thought it was just on that alone I wouldn't have said Sci fi, more period piece.

Thanks for all your comments EmilyH and Triffid! I appreciate it, and it will help me out in the future. I will fix that Javascript error posthaste, thanks for letting me know about. And I will contact Geocities about that pop-up. I never agreed to it, and no one ever told me it would be there. The cover art is Frederic Edwin Church's Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. I chose it for a couple of reasons. Since the main character is trying to uncover Earth's history, much of the novel consists of his visions of the past. So I wanted to use a painting that had a historical flavor to it. The second reason is with the small shadowed figures in the foreground approaching the city echoes the opening chapter of the book, where the two characters are approaching an alien temple. Hmmm, I should add that little trivia nugget to the site. Also Triffid, I did find the book on amazon.co.uk. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...832207-2706206 Thanks again! ![]() Robert

Um...that's why you need to read TOS when signing up for web sites. Most of them will state that you agree to use the service as is and they can make any changes they want. They don't have to tell you if they're going to advertise, you find that out by checking other sites. However, if they say they are ad-free but aren't, that is another thing entirely. Pretty much all free web site hosts have advertising of one sort or another, you can't get away from it without paying them $$$ to get rid of the ads. Ads are how they support their free services.

Thanks for that Robert, much appreciated .Looks like I was the one judging a book by it's cover , sorry. I can now see why you had the cover you did, it does fit in nicely with the subject matter. You seem to be one of the very few authors lucky enough to be able to pick their own cover art. Some I've seen were obviously chosen by people who had never even turned the first page of the book. A good example of this is "Night of the Triffids" by Simon Clark, read it and then look at the Triffid on the front cover again, you'll see what I mean  Keep up the good work and may all your novels be best sellers .
