Welcome, visitors and potential MacSlows!

HL2 already explained our clan purpose nicely in some of the other posts, so I'm not going to repeat that, but I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for people who want to join. That way, I will notice there's someone new to add to the members pages, and all the other MacSlows will also notice there's a MacSlow newbie, and will be able to welcome you!

So, if you think you would fit right in with our group of speed-challenged fanfic writers, post something here along the lines of 'I want to join', be it short and concise or long and elaborate, and I'll add you to the clan members pages of the website (when it's back).

Oh, and if you're not sure whether you're slow enough - well, basically there isn't any way to measure slowness of writing, so if you *feel* like you are a potential MacSlow, that's usually enough of a reason for us to accept your application! ;-)

and follow the link that says 'join'. :-) We're a nice, friendly group and we always welcome another poster to the board! We're mostly about giving feedback and advice in case anyone of us is stuck or thinks they need help with a WiP. Your input would certainly be welcome.

Hey, I went to the MacSlow web site and filled out the form to join, but it popped up a blank Outlook e-mail screen. I don't use Outlook cause of all the viruses out there. Do I need to send you guys a separate application from my Yahoo address or did the form go through?

Hmm, I didn't get your application, so I suggest you copy the text into the body of an e-mail and send it that way. Sorry for the inconvenience.
