Battles, Yes or no

This is a chance for all those who don't want to battle to let it be known. I have created this thread so that all those who don't want to battle, or do can let it be known and those who read the thread at least will know whether to ask you for a battle or not.

(giggles) Gypsy, you battle me and let me win so that I know what I am doing, ok? No??? Mickey, how about you? No?!?!? ChinaCat???? You??? Ok, where is the support system? (giggles) :rolly2:

Same as Ellen. I have (currently) no intention of really getting into battles the same way as several people round here seem to want to go. But one or two "little" skirmishes, almost in a friendly way, just to "see how it works" type thing.

Problem is of course, as I understand it, if you try to have a friendly little scrap with too many points on one side, would be like a "little" sparring with Mike Tyson. SPLAT.

Well, Personally am going to be battling and anyone is welcome to ask me, provided it's not someone my alliance has a treay with.
Guess I won't be battling You 2. I think it would be a bit one sided if you guys are unsure of them.

Very funny, PTeppic! lol I think that I will be staying away from battles myself! Too many points at risk for someone that knows nothing about the battles! Don't think it would be pretty to see a grown woman cry her eyes out over a game! (giggles) Now, if there is a way to battle without risking points, I might do that, once!

This is wonderful. There are others out there who feel the way I do! I'm not alone.

I don't really want to get into the battles .... at least, not at this stage ... maybe down the track a ways ... And it is pretty much for the same reason - loss of hard won points. Damn, but I cry when I get a question wrong and miss on a couple of points so I don't know what kind of mess I'd be in if I lost a whole heap of points.

I don't think I want to find out either

I'm in total agreement with Cat and Mickey Doll. I get upset when I didn't get a question marked and loose a point. Can you imagine what would happen when (not if) I were to loose in a battle :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Think I'll just stick to my training that I feel comfortable with

As a question to those who have battled before...

Take for example two people who jsut want to battle a little, but who've never done it before. But they both have, say, 650+ skill and 100k experience, and 100% weapons... etc...

Is it going to get messy?

LOL. It could, but first you have to find the guy you want to kill. I forget what the point losses and gains were but when I last battled noone was really on enough points to make much of a difference. Now a lot of us are on higher points I would imagine it could get quite messy. It's a fun mess though <g>

Question, do you get to choose how many points you lose or gain or is there a standered like 1% of your over al knowledge, exspirence at stake for battling? If that is what make people leary about battling maybe they should be alowed to chose the amout that they are risking like taking a site exam?

What is the low down on it all is what I'm asking.

LOL. I don't mind the odd friendly battle between Allies. Wondering what this secret weapon is as I have everything except the staff weapon.

Probably an Ion cannon. I've heard that if the other person has one you might as well give up.
