I recently saw and signed a petition for a DS9 movie at http://www.starfleetlibrary.com/ds9petition/.
It made me think back to when the rumors first started that Janeway would make a cameo in the new movie. I remember how slighted the DS9 fans felt.

So here's a quick question: would an apearence by O'brien, in addition to Worf, been enough to satisfy DS9 fans? What about if Nog had a cameo as well? Would that have been enough to make everyone happy?

It does seem that DS9 has been slighted.

I personally don't believe I have any power over these things, I think they ignore these petitions and do what they want, but more cameos would have been good.

DS9 did finish in a way other series never did, so there is little room for a movie, but I would like to see how the remaining characters got on.

o'brien and worf are just as much next gen characters as they are deep space 9 characters, so i'm not sure if it would satisfy ds9 fans...

it would probably be nice to see some ds9 characters, at least in a brief cameo, since there doesn't seem to be much hope for a ds9 movie.
