Oh - and i have that 5 part Urban Legends story i was working on - still trying to write part 2 -- think that's all i'm currently stumbling over -- everyone else??? |

Well, I already mentioned what I've written in the last thread... two lines of Zhaan, this weekend. But, uhm, didn't we start these threads on the weekend, when the week was over, usually? Not that it matters much... BTW, if you'd like, I could take over that duty again... since I'm back now... and I feel kinda stupid without a 'job' ;-)

I'm still working on that Highlander fic that I posted parts of the other day. I'm almost done with the next part. I'll post it as soon as I can. BTW, H2, do you happen to need a beta reader for your Sentinel fic when it's finished? I am totally obsessed with reading Sentinel fan fiction and am always happy to read more. If you need someone, I'd be more than willing to do it.

hmpf -- you are more than welcome to take over the job of 'what have you written'! just took over while the leader was away -- (and yes - anyone can start threads here! go for it!!) SwingGirl - actually - i could always use a beta for my Sentinel fic - however - i am going to warn you up front - it is a monster! it's huge! very long - almost 'novel' length! (don't even ask me how many pages, b/c i haven't looked at in forever) however - here's the premise - technically, it's a crossover w/ The Pretender - but different than most x-overs - Jarod is pretending to be a 'true crime' novelist, and doesn't actually make an appearance until WELL into the fic, and the story is actually written as though Jarod is writing a novel - story comes full w/ 'Author's Note' and everything - ![]() (man, i really need to dig it out- i don't even remember much about it anymore!) so - i'll drag it out, look over it and add some stuff, then, if you still wanna beta it for me - i'll send it along - (for size reference - i think the last time i printed it - it was over 80 pages at size 8 font; don't worry - i'll make the font bigger if you want, b4 i send it along!)

not having seen the Pretender probably won't make a difference - it's not really Pretender based - i was just initially writing it so it could go on a Pretender fanfic site - so, it needed a "Pretender aspect" - so, i shifted to the true crime novel idea - which i still like - so it stayed -- but it's a "The Sentinel" story --- no doubt! but - i'll send it --- (from home - don't have it here at work) btw - there IS a Sentinel forum here at ascifi.com! <hinthint>

Great, H2! I can't wait to read it. I've read a lot of Sentinel fic and sometimes have trouble finding stuff that I haven't read yet. And thanks for the link to the Sentinel forum. I'll check it out, though I probably won't be very good at discussing the show. I got into The Sentinel by way of fan fic and then about 2 1/2 weeks after I started watching it, Scifi Channel stopped showing it. Sometimes, I just hate the Scifi Channel. Not only do they stop showing TS, just as I was getting into it, but they also canceled The Invisible Man. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!! Darn Scifi Channel!!!!! But not to worry, I'm okay now. Really. :-)

Finally made it here... Hi there! Never used a forum like this before...so if I mess up...please forgive *g* I've been meaning to get over here for a while, but like fic writing, I'm slow at other things too! And hopefully RL won't make me lurk too often, which is what I tend to do. As for what I'm working on right now. I'm on a fantasy AU list and quite a bit of my writing has been there. Though I'm trying to make my stories shorter...more like vignettes...so I can do them more quickly. I'm also working on a HL/The Mummy x-over which is turning monster length right now...I've been working on this for about 9 months on and off...and I write a bit then it gets left for ages. I have an idea brewing for a Professionals fic (70s/80s Brit cop-type show) which may or may not take off. I hope it does. And then there's my original fic that I work on every now and then, but which I really should be more disciplined about. Back to HL...I'm working on a series of (again) short story/vignettes about a new OC. Those seem to write very quickly...but then again he is a very demanding muse *g* Well, that's all for now! Glad to be over here. Cheers, K'Immie
