Post P'Teppic's Pointless P'Facts and P'Statistics

Okay, so for absolutely no apparent reason I have compiled the following statistics over my last 20 runs through the AusGate questions. Almost entirely pointless, I know, but hey - the diplomatic service can be quiet at times...

As you all know there are 218 locations split into 75 episodes (plus 3 in "Stargate Productions"). This takes 2431 mouse-clicks, plus the collection of any objects. The maximum theoretical score is 64090 experience, but the odds against that would be astronomical [calculable when I get the odds from Allan] and require all questions reset; the table below shows actual scores, which are somewhat lower!

Out of 75 TV-based episode, only 8 do not feature the SGC, but do feature 56 non-Earth planets, the presumed orbit around another, and 2 alternate realities.

For score-junkies, the largest number of locations (in sequential episodes) that can be attempted in a single hour is 42, whilst conversely the smallest number of locations required to complete 10 sequential episodes is 20.

Looking at the % scores provided for each question, the most well-known episodes appear to be from series 2 (i.e. the series with most episodes having numbers of answers 98% or more correct), with there being at least one question displayed as 100% correct (in episode "Bane", location "Colorado Springs"). And just to confound the obvious thought that it is the more recent episodes that have the highest scores available, in a top-seven of the episodes whose raw location averages are above 8 points (for me over the last 20 runs!), three are from series 1 ("Politics", "Hathor" and "TBFTGOG" at #1, #3 and #6). Okay - you got me, "Beneath the Surface" is #2, but falling (it was #1 five runs ago)... It probably also makes sense (from a statistics viewpoint) that the others ("Point of View", "Message in a Bottle" and "Rules of Engagement" at #4, #5 and #7) are all only 2-location episodes. [Note: due to the points "reset" feature, and more people getting things right, the observations in this paragraph more than the others can easily change!]

And so, to the numbers, based on 20 runs, though "Beneath the Surface" only appeared after 15 runs. The "experience" score is raw, i.e. excludes multipliers. The Eng.Gen and Naq.Reac. values reflect their actual value - the recharge cost has been deducted. Also, the "value" score is not always associated with the "count" score: i.e. the average trinium value of 5.87 did not necessarily occur during the same run when the maximum of 28 trinium items were collected. [I may update these after 30 or so, if people are having trouble sleeping... :eek7:]
