| This is a chance for all you 'Thunderbirds' fans out there to talk about this really F.A.B! show - sorry about the pun! Just for your information, according to the offical 'Thunderbirds' website, the phrase F.A.B! is going to be in the next edidtion of the dictionary. My favourite character is Virgil tracy, how about any one else? :rolly2: |

| Wherever I Am, I'm There | I voted Parker, easily the most interesting character. Out of interest, since you are a fan, I was part of a discussion about what F.A.B. stood for. The general consensus was that it didn't stand for anything, even though S.I.G. meant Spectrum Is Go. (Captain Scarlett and the Mysterons) Is that right? Is it just short for Fabulous, a very sixties expression -- I'm surprised that Fab is not already in the dictionary -- 'Ab Fab' (the TV sitcom), and Austin Powers uses it continuously. |

| The origins surronding F.A.B are that when Jeff Tracy was looking for a call sing like 'Roger', 'Over' etc,., he wanted something short & that hadn't been used before & so he thought of FAB & decided to spell it out & so the full stops came in to add effect to it. According to the offical 'Thunderbirds' website F.A.B! will be in the next edition of the dictionary because 95% of the people who voted wanted it in! :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: |
