10,000 posts and a pressie

This week has seen LOTR hit 10,000 posts! Making us one of the busiest forums on AsciFi!

As such we've sprouted another new sub-forum in which to discuss the characters and races.

Thanks to one and all that have visited and posted.
Peter Jackson, for producing what must be one of the greatest films in history and JRRT for writing the book in the first place!
And above all the Great Admin Dave for giving us more space to fill!

If I've missed moving a thread (or moved the wrong one) then please let me know.

I just watched the extended edition of FOTR after not seeing any LOTR for many long and empty months and I just wanted to salute the greatness! Its not that I 'forgot' how amazing it is just that seeing it afresh made me realise how astounding and beautiful the films are. I know its all gone a bit quiet on the LOTR front but I felt after seeing it again that I wanted to say a big thank you to Pete Jackson et al for making one the greatest films of all time and a bigger thank you to JRRT for thinking it all up! Well done guys.

Re: Welcome to LOTR General Discussions

Did I miss something? Since last time I checked, there were three pages worth of topics and less that 2000 posts. Now, I see 14 (!!) pages worth of topics and more than 14.000 posts. Would anyone care to explain this pleasant surprise? Till then, let's get busy!
