I've come to the conclusion that your all nuts over here...I LIKE IT! I LIKE IT! where i've been it's all perfectly normal discusions, like vampires & buffy bots.
then i come over here & see talks about the population of witches vs muggles. interesting, very interesting. however i have a theory; maybe every one has a bit of witch gene in them, but only the ones that are predisposed towards magic get the intro into "HOGWORTS"
okay, i think i'm going to reread my HP books to check up on all this...
bye 4 now, thanks 4 letting me come play!!!

With the Mudbloods you also have the Squibs, don't forget. And as you can see from Voldemort, SOME wizards are snobbis about 'purebloods'--- that and the difficulties of muggle/non-muggle relationships... Not that it doesn't happen (James and Lily, Seamus' parents I think, and the Hufflepuff to mention a few)

Plus you have to think about the fact that not every wizard is strong enough to get accepted. There might be plenty of almost-squibs too.

There's a nice argument that deals with some points in the HP Lexicon: How many students at Hogwarts?

EDIT: This is what I HAD been looking for : here!
