| lost in Time  |  I wrote this to post it on my Anniversary but I had left it at home so without further ado, my past year experience, I say this to you: Asmiley’s 1 year Anniversary It has been one year to this day that I happened to find this place of fun and everlasting joy. I made my first post and said hello to the world of Ascifi.com. At first I was a newbie, then a member, then a moderator and now a Super Moderator. I took the title of Queen of the Universe and hold it to this day. I also have the privilege under Dmalfoy “The God Father” to be the “Mafia Ascifi Queen”. (Long story) I met many friends here that I will cherish till the end of my days. I have many I hold in high regard and thank them for their friendship. In Buffy, Markpud and I had many a conversation and soon enough came Mr. Pointy. We were a set us three. In some such fashion we became the Three Musketeers of Buffy. Mariah gave her quotes and Obcooke made her points and then came Vampyre. At first we almost went to war but soon found he was lovely to talk to once you got to know him. We made him number four of the Musketeers and now we have the Four Buffy Musketeers. I will always remember that Peachy led me out from the Buffy Forums to find the joy of aliens and their young childhood days. In the Aliens Forum, or thread as it was in the beginning, I named my aliens and found that it was fun to get as many as I could. JSC’s Alien Parties were one in a million. I will miss them far past the day that I shall stop giving my own. I began an index for everyone to keep the naming straight. The little darlings—um well okay some of them are darlings—doubled by the day and were growing really fast. With many an adventure, all things that now are past. I found I enjoy the chit chat section quite a lot, a lot. Here I learned of my insanity and met some more peeps who were willing to play. Here is where I met Hyper Peacekeeper Maria and Scifimoth and Akula and Buks to name a few. I’ll never forget my smiley battle with Markpud and the outcome of it, nor the fact that HPM and I both find Pepsi and insanity to be a lovely combination. We talk of Chocolate and its sweet taste and all the kinds to try. To worship me for Choccie is something that I enjoy, and give my choccie willingly to any who will do just that. Neo(My most loyal servant), Chilly(Second in command, as a distributor of choccie), Wikki (Doyle lover to the extreme, also a chocolate distributor) and many more have joined in loyal worship of me and they are more than friends to me. HPM is the Farscape girl and we too will be friends forever. Scifimoth is unique and a great lover of chocolate too. Akula is delightfully insane to talk to with all her multipersonalities. Buks knows how to throw an awesome party too. I can talk chitchat for hours forever in a day, and have been known to create a few threads and end a few others too. As to clubs and such as those I’ve joined and passed them all. I am the top poster here after all. I saw 100 come and go and all through 10,000 I have passed. I cheer my peeps on to the day they reach 10,000, because then they will all have ten little aliens too. We talk of aliens and colors and things like that. It’s fun to see the aliens of all colors: the yellow, the red, and the blue. I have ten lovely little aliens that I name in my sig. Juno’s name is Spanish it means June. She’s my oldest and has had her troubles but usually she’s good. My second oldest is Willow. She’s named after Willow in the show Buffy the Vampire slayer. She has strong magic capabilities, my little witch so to say. Then came James my first born son, he’s named after James T. Kirk the captain of the original series of Star Trek. Then came my little Spuddy! My second son is named Spud. He loves to swim it’s in his blood. Dru and Zip are twins. Dru is named after Drusilla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer/ Angel. Zip’s full name is Zip-a-dee-doo-dah-dae and he’s an energetic little guy. Then came Smiley. He’s so cute. His name is smiley cuz I love smilies. Then Little Angela was born. She was the youngest until little Darla was born. Angela was named after Angel and Darla was named after Darla from the show Angel. Then I had a long time to post to get my tenth little alien. He is so cute I had to give him an adorable little name. I named him Snookie. He has the cutest smile. In Andromeda was Stripe to guide me, always enjoying her stories and her pics. I love to hear her talk of how she’s met so many of our favorite actors and actresses. And Saine was there to fight with me over Harper… well we fixed it now so no more arguing there. It’s fun to talk of Trance and Dromie or Kevin Sorbo’s change of role (From God to man, as in Hercules to Andromeda.), or the thingy on Harper’s neck. Skip will be my friend to the end of time and further. She showed me the joys of ficcing and in her, our insanity shall always prevail. When Fuzzy moments come to mind I shall forever think of Gemsong and her love for them. When it comes to Stargate there is Skip of course but now I think of Summershake and Julie and Jessa and many more names that I envision in my head when the word Jack, or Daniel, or Stargate are even said. In defacing I found Mishkaz known as Mishy and Cynovision known as Cyn. Of course if it’s everyone I cherish in SG forum that you’d like for me to name I could talk of friends I have there for pages and pages more. I wondered through various threads to find sections beyond the Buffy and the Stargate crowd. Along the way I met Asguard and Del and Serena and Trunks. I shall think of them whenever watching Anime in Japanese or otherwise. I made sure that we had an Angel section and a Sliders one as well. As many may know Annette and I were thrilled when Padders (ah yes the high and mighty Padders whom we all give thanks each day to for creating, and keeping up to date, this glorious site.) made the Angel section born. Then I knew we had no Sliders Section and I knew we needed one. There was nowhere else to talk of the original cast or the atrocity of the fact that the show did end. Of these two sections I am the soul Moderator. Somewhere I met Sin and she convinced me to read the Harry Potter books. As of now I am only on book three. In the Harry Potter Section I met Snape who now is Legolas, and Dmalfoy, and others who came to join. We talk of the movie and about the books and what we liked about them. I began a thread of charmed and soon had it put to vote and a charmed section was created upon the request of many. The movie of Lord of the Rings came out recently and is the topic everyone seems to love the most right now. I’ve finished all the books for that and must say I loved them and enjoy talking to my peeps and friends for endless hours over Frodo and Samwise and Tom Bombadil and other things well known to all who have read the books and/or seen the movie. The most recent friend that I have met is great to talk to and knows how to find the pics of Daniel that all Danny lovers cherish. Tabitha knows how to keep the Danielites drooling and pleading for more. I hope she sticks around to stay and can say in a years time as much or more as I have said today. I shall cherish these memories and these friends for forever and a day. Plus infinity. And for now that is as much as I will say. Luv ya’s all Asmiley |
