Velorek is the Peacekeeper in the season 2 episode "The Way We Weren't". He's the guy that oversaw the implantation of Pilot into Moya.

I really loved this character portrayed by the devine Alex Dimitiades. He was such a strong character and I think he really shone in this episode. The way the character interacted with Pilot was beautiful. Also, his relationship with Aeryn was very interesting. I think he's the only person in th universe, besides John, to get close to her.

OMG! You are missing SO much, Chilly! You absolutely have to see this eppy. Too bad you guys have PAL VCRs, or I'd send you season two. Can you download it? Try to at least download The Way We Weren't.

Shel's right! Alex was wonderful as Velorek. I want to see him some more, but it's hard to find Aussie actors in shows and movies here in the States.

The eppy revolves around Aeryn's past, told in flashbacks. It's highly emotional and proves once again what an outstanding actress Claudia is. There's a wonderful scene with her and Pilot that is just so touching :crying:

But you have to wonder about Velorek when the eppy's over. What did happen to him afterward? How would he and John have gotten along if they'd ever met? How alike are they really?

Someone wrote a story called "Unseen Hands" that you ought to read Shel! I think you'd really love it. It's one of the finalists in the 2002 Fan Fiction awards, so you can find it on that site. If you need the link, email me.

You are so missing out by not knowing about Velorek. Man, what a hotty!

And he was so damn sweet! Expecially for a Peacekeeper. His compassion for "lesser species" was astounding. He'd be one great ally for John and co. if he were still around.

Man! Too bad....
