OK Travellers......Here is the latest scoop!

The new line is set...We are in the process of changing over to a different I.P. Address...Once the server gets reconfigured and tested, I will post the IP for everyone to go to. The Server and Data are fine. The Old Ausgate Address is no longer valid. All that you will have to do until Allan changes the "rollover" is just input the new "Gate Address.

If all goes well...It should be up in a few hours!

Oh my god! You don't know how much I laughed at the cache thing! (I guess just us computer geeks get that one) The others were very funny as well, but I'm conflicted on which one to vote on.

Out of interest, GeekMan, [and THANKS :rain: for the work done so far, and to come] will this IP change be permanent, or just until a "permanent" fix is made to the server room?

LOL...Well, the IP change will stay the same til I move the server to Wisconsin. We are doing quite a bit of construction in the back to handle more Servers and Bandwidth. Once it is here, it will make it easier for be to work on and such. When it does relocate, it will be to a much more powerful server as well. I am expecting an increase of users when Stargate moves to SciFi.
Allan has already received the details of the new server and needless to say...he was excited...hehe

Thanks Geekman for all of your and Allan's hard work! We all appreciate every single unit of work you both put in on our behalves! Please keep us all posted on how things are proceeding ...but I have just one question....what will the new address of my most favorite site be??

Will keep my fingers crossed as well as continue to check back here for updates on the progress...glad to know the address will be the same....just wanted to know so that [of course] I would be able to get to the site once it is back up and running!!
