They're leaving all of that out?

I read on www.theonering.net that apparently they needed to make up some more scenes especially for Frodo, Gollum and Sam, mostly character stuff to fill the movie.
And another thing was that Shelob wont be in it until ROTK, not at the end of TTT. Probably so it wont end in a huge cliffhanger.

And think of all the people who haven't read the books. A year is a long time to wait.

That's true, I have read all three so obviously I know what's going to happen but my friend said that the ending of the FOTR was bad, so if they keep the cliffhanger in for the second one she'll be ripping her hair out!

Perhaps it is best to keep out the cliffhanger ending.

I dont think they will cut much out... I mean, the book isnt that long, not compared to FotR anyway, so really, theres not much they CAN cut out really! Theyll just make the bits shorter, but the same stuff will happen....

I dunno. When I was re-reading the book I was wondering how on earth they will make the Ents look, but I fear they will leave them out. I hope they don't cut too much Merry & Pip. Pipin is quite curw getting in to trouble all the time. & I dont' want them to cut out Sam & Frodo..ah too long to wait 'til our questions are answered!
