Well it does sound as if they are going to make Elves look rather silly. I would hate them to be a lot of 'Dobby' elves from Harry Potter.

Also, it IS a Disney film, and look what Disney did to Dwarves!!! But, I'm not going to jump to any conclusions based on just one report. They haven't even begun filming yet!

I'd also like to add that I didn't mind what Disney did to the Dwarves. I liked them like that, but I still liked them better in LOTR.

sorry about that!

anyway, on my recent journeys to the far lands of...England I did come across a fair house. upon the gate of this fair house was engraved the name Rivendell - someone had actually called their house Rivendell! how cool!

you know for as long as I can remember, I could've sworn that there was a town in New Jersey called Rivendell, but upon researching I found out I was wrong... no elves in New Jersey
