Good episode for development of Doyle and his motivations, and also setting up the fact that not all demons are evil, although these "good" demons ended up being a bit less harmless than Doyle thought...

This was good in the fact that Doyle seemed so dense with her past loves finance. He seemed an innocent in the matters at hand. Not cottoning on that he could be the 'main course' of the demons feast. Good job Angel was alert to this in the end.

the team really came together, with COrdy finding out the details from the women of the family, and Angel cleaning house to save Doyle. Although Doyle seemed to be able to get out of the box thingy quite easily when he put his demon face on...

Perhaps the demon strength only shows itself when he has his 'face' on.

I just watched this episode yesterday - and I can tell you that it is mentioned explicitly that Doyle only has the demon strength when he has his "demon face" on.

This was one of the first eps of Angel I ever saw, and for some reason the dotted lines they drew on Doyle's head really make me crack up! Also love how Cordelia batters Doyle when she doesn't know it's him!

Really can't see Doyle with that woman though, or as a primary school teacher. :alienooh:

I loved that bit too :lol: . The rest of the episode was alright but gave a good background to Doyle. He must of hit the booze pretty hard after finding out about his demon heritage to lose that much, his job, wife...
