Thanks Texane,

When my husband turned on the lights he always smiled at me and whispered, "Magic!" He was from South Africa where the only light he had at night was kerosene, toilets were shared and not the flush kind, medicine and education were gotten at a very high cost, and life itself was unsure from day to day.

The lack of health, clean water, and education especially literacy are what most of the people of the world face along with lack of peace.

We are a truely blessed people.

Your right Texanne, it really made me think, I do waste a lot and take a lot for granted!

Think about it: there are many in the world who don't have hot and cold running water. For those of us who (used to) allow the water to keep running when you brush your teeth, you are using approximately 40 gallons of water. Water that is "cleaned" for our use by our cities as is required by our government . . .

we have been given so much.
