Change of Title

I have recently read in a national news paper that the producers were considering changing the name of the next Lord of the Rings movie from 'The Two Towers' to a yet unknown title due to the Sept 11th Terrorist Attck..

What do u think ?? should they ?

Erm, don't shoot me, but I don't really think they should. And I always think silly padding around subjects and being uber-sensitive does more harm than good. If they were to change it, they'd have to use... minas... The Two Minas? But hey, that don't sound as good

I think that if the original title was The Two Towers just as Tolkien wrote it, then no....

They should leave it how it is i think - if you go around it it will be emphasised more for being changed wont it?

There's always the danger that if they change something as big as the title of the film, they might not think twice about changing other stuff that's kind of important. Where would they draw the line?

i don't reckon they should. If J.R.R Tolkien didn't want the name 'The Two Towers' he wouldn't have put it in. They've already missed out and changed a lot of the film, i don't think they should change it n e more
