Character Discussion

hmm...we dont seem to have a thread for discussing characters, and it would clutter the place up if separate threads were made for all the main characters, so here is a thread (although i know there's a snape thread floating about) where you can discuss your favourite (or maybe most-hated?) characters....

I like Hermione - she is so 'cool'! I love her in the movie (haven't read the 1st book yet), and also in the fourth book where she's still brilliant and intelligent but gets asked to the ball by Krum!! Go Girl!

I also like Prof. Lupin and Moody. I was so disappointed that it wasn't actually him and he was infact a death eater.....i would really like to get to know the real him. Think she'll keep him for book 5? probably not, she's not too fond of the Defence against dark arts teachers is she?

Sirius is cool too.

I recokn Lupin will be around in the fifth book...why? cos I have my theory...if you really wanna know, just say and i can bore you to death with it...(not really, i hope)

So Hermione's cool, eh? Whenever I think of Hermione, I always end up re-playing the part of the film where she says 'petrificus totalus!' Apparently, J.K. Rowling based Hermione on herself, when she was younger

So who do'ya hate? Me, I'm always undecided between the Malfoys...Draco or Lucius? Or maybe even Snape? hmmmm...

Ok, I agree that Snape. especially, is good fro fanfics..and so is Lucius...I mean why did they go over to the Dark Arts in the first place, what was the worst thing they did for Voldemort? And why was Voldemort so terrible? Ahh....so many evil characters...altho Snape isn't really evil anymore, but still...

I just finished the fourth book today!! I think my favourite characters have got to be Hermione and Sirius. Really don't like the Malfoys.

mines the third. It just shook me the way the baddy isn't quite who you expect. I loved the bit in the shack in Hogsmeade with Lupin and Sirius. and you are told a little more about Snape. :smokin:

I'm going to have to go with Hermione also. And all of the Weasleys. Kind of sucks that Geogre and Fred's parts were so drastically cut.

really? The mannerisms were a lot like I would expect but, with the exception of Ron, the boys didn't look at all like I had imagined.

that was a big part of it for me...they didnt look as cheeky as i imagined them to look, and their acting wasnt particularly good either, I imagined them to be all jolly and cheeky, know what i mean? and they weren't like that at all!
