| Re: Who Would You Marry?? I too must shamefully admit the joining just to answer this question thing. (although it's not entirely accurate, I was also looking at these forums because I wanted a science fiction community to belong to) I'm bi, so I can answer both ways ![]() Women: Galadriel - less a marrying thing and more a crawl on the floor and lick her feet kind of thing but - oooh, yes please Arwen would be second best choice. She is very attractive - but a little too cold and passive for my tastes. Men: lots of choices here. Aragorn would be my first choice. Attractive, manly, sensitive, sexy, charming - what's not to like? After that, Legolas - mainly for his elven good looks Following that, Frodo and Sam - both of whom are reasonably good looking and have something alluring about them. Weirdly, I think Sam slightly wins over Frodo. lol I must have strange tastes or something. Conclusion If I had to choose just one person - it would be Galadriel (total lust there) Aragorn would be second choice |

| Re: Who Would You Marry?? Are you taking your preferences from the films or the books, EDL? I mean, Galadriel is pure Noldorin, second only to Fëanor in power and remoteness, whereas Arwen is, at least, one eighth mortal... Welcome to the Chrons, BTW - I assume you've plenty of spare hours to fritter, if that's the right word, away... ![]() Perhaps you'd like to drop into the Introductions thread, and tell us a bit about yourself, likes, dislikes, taste in SFF, that sort of thing.... |

| Re: Who Would You Marry?? Well, I do accept that Galadriel has a certain something. But given that this thread was about who we'd marry, as opposed to anything else... I don't really see her as the marrying type. |

| Re: Who Would You Marry?? But there again, she was married to Celeborn for over 5,000 years...now that's what I call a lasting marriage. Imagine trying to find a new card every year... |

| Purr-fectly crazy | Re: Who Would You Marry?? I don't want to get married but could I have a hot passionate fling with the LOTR character of my choice? If so, Aragorn, Faramir and Boromir are on my list. Aragorn because he's played by Viggo Mortensen. 'Nuff said. Faramir because his father treated him so badly, always comparing him unfavourably to Boromir. I'm a sucker for the underdog. Also, he has really sexy lips. Boromir because he's deeply humanly flawed. He's someone I think I would find interesting in real life. |

| Registered User | Re: Who Would You Marry?? No contest. I'd marry Aragorn. Can't beat a lost king disguised as the lone ranger. Though if Gandalf agreed to shave off his beard and was maybe 25 years younger, I'd look sideways at him. Definitely. "Fly, you fools!" |
