I thought she was wearing leather trousers - that's why I was so confused that they got it on so quick. There's only one zip sound.

I have a question that I wanna ask, but it's slightly *adult* in nature....

Given that vamps are dead and have no pulse (canon from S1 Buffy) surely they have no blood flow either, so how do they, ahem, perform *the act* if you get my drift??

OK - I'm going have a stab at this (scuse the pun) from watching this series and Angel I think that when they feed they kinda warm up, I remember Darla making some comment about that at some point. Its almost as if the blood they drink starts to flow through them (I may be remembering this from an Anne Rice novel - not sure) so anyway, if they have fed/drank recently maybe whatever blood they have running through them kind of instinctively goes to where ever its needed !!!!!

Of course the flaw in this theory with Spike is that since the chip he presumably has to drink animal blood that he stores so it probably cold - but other than that its a fine theory

Anyone else got any ideas

Well I could say rigor mortis but I wont . Seriously its magic. Like how can vamps talk if they have no breath, its just another thing we have to accept.

interesting question there, mark --

i kinda asked myself the same thing - and then the others that Shaun tossed out - how do they talk, and someone mentioned smoking cigarettes, etc --

and while i can accept the 'magic' argument -- i like to know *why* things are --- but that's just me ---

tell ya what --

if i ever bump into Joss Whedon - i'll ask him --

just don't hold your breath 'til that happens - you'll turn blue and Buffy may not be around to revive you ---

Just a tidbit here --

Did ya know they had to edit the ending to this episode? It was censored -- and there's a clip floating around that shows the original ending --- it's --- shall we say --- *hot* --- (or racy - you'd have to decide for yourself )
