Is the animation by Rankin & Bass, or is it by Ralph Bakshi?

Way to hint about staying on topic G,

it was about Bored of the Rings - the spoof book - what about Fraud of the rings with Fraudo and Gondaft?

I think I've had to be reminded to stay on topic a couple of times. It's been awhile since I've read Bored Of The Rings. I can't even remember the names hardly anymore.
I pretty much said what I had to say about Bored Of The Rings, and now I am going to withdraw from this thread, for now.
See you guys in other threads.
bye.
G.

Re: BORED of the Rings

I thought Bored of the Rings was just an ok read, not nearly as funny as I thought it would be.

I have to agree with you on that one. As with so many such parodies, it was a bit too heavy-handed and tended to be (to quote Goldman's The Lion in Winter): "Dull as plainsong, la la la, all on one note..."
